Congress averts fiscal cliff, staves off Medicare physician pay cut
Once again waiting until the last minute, Congress passed a bill on New Yearís Day that averts the fiscal cliff, delays sequestration provisions for two months, and staves off the 26.5 percent cut in Medicare physician pay for another year. Federal lawmakers left the Medicaid primary care payment bonus intact, but paid for the SGR patch largely through cuts to hospitals. Statewide conference focuses on expanding access to medical home

Join physicians and health care organizations from around the state as they come together for the Texas Health Home Summit, the first-ever statewide conference focused specifically on expanding access to health/medical homes for individuals and families in Texas.
