Resident member chose family medicine long before medical school

Long before entering the Baylor College of Medicine, Shah knew family medicine was the path for him. Now in his second year at the Houston Methodist San Jacinto Family Medicine Residency program, Shah is very active in TAFP’s Section on Residents. Complete survey and improve genetic services for patients
A graduate student at the UT Health Science Center Genetic Counseling Program in Houston is writing a thesis on Texas physicians’ awareness and utilization of genetic services. She developed a short, 5-10 minute survey and is hoping to have family physicians complete it and contribute to improving the genetic services available to Texas patients. Take the survey here.
