Represent Texas at AAFP spring conferences, scholarships available

TAFP is looking for members to represent our state on the national stage. AAFP holds two conferences—the National Conference of Constituency Leaders and Annual Chapter Leader Forum—simultaneously April 30 - May 2, in Kansas City, Missouri. The conferences present the opportunity for physicians to hone leadership and communications skills and develop policy for the Academy. No experience is needed and new faces are welcome. It’s time again to submit nominations for TAFP’s top awards: Physician of the Year, Physician Emeritus, the Public Health Award, the Exemplary Teaching Award, and the Special Constituency Leadership Award. All awards will be presented at Annual Session and Primary Care Summit in The Woodlands on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. Winners need not attend Annual Session to receive an award. Nominate someone today.
