HHSC urges doctors to e-prescribe controlled substances
Do you write electronic prescriptions for controlled medications? If not, you’re definitely not alone. Physicians have been able to electronically prescribe controlled substances for several years, but according to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, only 3 percent of Texas doctors take advantage of the service. HHSC is working to increase that number. Read more about the effort to promote electronic prescribing of controlled substances here.
