TMB eases process for PAs, APRNs to get prescription authority during Harvey recovery
The governor has approved a temporary waiver of certain state requirements for prescription authority agreements between supervising physicians and physician assistants and APRNs. The waiver will remain in effect for the duration of the Hurricane Harvey disaster declaration.

TAFP is accepting applications for the 2017 Student, Resident, and Community Physician Poster Competition. The competition will take place during the Annual Session and Primary Care Summit held in Galveston, Friday, November 10. Researchers must submit their applications and abstracts by the September 11 deadline.
