New COPD checklist now available

AstraZeneca, one of TAFP’s Partners in Health, recently released a COPD Checklist: A Tool for Optimizing Patient Care.

This checklist is based on the 2026 GOLD Report and can be useful when considering a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) diagnosis in patients with dyspnea, chronic cough to sputum production, frequent lower respiratory tract infections, and/or a history of exposure to risk factors. Additionally, included on the infographic are strategies for initial management and pharmacological treatment, patient education, and quality standards for COPD care.
